Nail Removal Tutorial: Sticky Tabs Option

Tip: Once your nails feel like they are loose it may be a good time to remove them.

  1. Fill a bowl of water with warm water and dish soap.
  2. Place a few tablespoons of oil (e.g., olive oil, castor oil, baby oil or any other oil of your choosing).
  3. Soak them for 10-20 minutes periodically using your cuticle stick to gently lift the nail from the cuticle/edges.
  4. Do not pick or pull them off with force. They will be ready to pop off when you can freely wiggle the nail and use the cuticle stick to easily pry them off. Some parts may still be a little sticky.
  5. If there is any resistance you should soak them longer until they are ready to come off easily.
  6. Remove residue from your nail. Water or rubbing alcohol work just fine.
  7. To get the sticky tab residue off the press on nail you can use the pointy part of the cuticle stick. Poke the sticky tab and move your cuticle stick in a circular motion and the sticky tab will roll itself into a ball. It will come off instantly!
  8. You can reuse your press ons after using sticky tabs just wipe them down with rubbing alcohol and store for future use!
